Summer Influx
part of installation Summer Bankrupt/ Rodriguez Gallery, Poznań, Poland
During its seasonal break Rodríguez Gallery hosts a site-specific installation by Agnieszka Grodzińska, Summer Bankrupt, that playfully occupies the gallery’s front window and it is to be watched only from the outside. The objects displayed in the window transform it into a mix of commercial connotations and intimate voyeurism, typically associated to window-shopping practice. In Summer Bankrupt the different layers build up offering a visual reflection on overheated information and holiday-pandemic fiasco.
